Jaiwoo Shim Honored by Marquis Who’s Who for More Than 30 Years of Professional Excellence

GANGNAM-GU, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, February 10, 2017, Jaiwoo Shim has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Recognized for more than three decades of invaluable contributions to his field, Mr. Shim parlays his knowledge into his current role as president of SB Consulting, where he has worked since 1996. He started his journey with Hyundai Motor Company, where he served as assistant manager from 1983 until 1988. At that time, he switched to General Electric Plastics Korea, where he stayed for seven years before obtaining his current position. He attributes his success in the field to his professional resume, as well as his educational background, which includes a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

In order to remain current in his field, Mr. Shim affiliates himself with Huthwaite SPIN Selling, where he became an international certified master trainer, CEB Challenger Sales, where he became an international certified trainer, and Satmatrix NPS. Throughout his career, he has contributed his knowledge to numerous creative works, including 25 business management and development books and 50 business competency education and training programs. Additionally, Mr. Shim is the creator of the Inselllab (www.inselllab.com) Business Capability Assessment Solution in eight areas which is big-data driven Human Resource Tool: workforce and project execution, communication and persuasion, creativity and collaboration, leadership and coaching, strategic thinking, problem solving and meeting facilitator, business-to-consumer, and business-to-business abilities. As a testament to his success, he won two management awards and a contribution award from General Electric Plastics, the grand prize for Service Innovation at the 2016 Korea Industry Awards, and the grand prize at the 2016 Global Education Brand Awards; both of the latter awards were for his work on the Insellab Assessment Solution. Looking ahead, Mr. Shim intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
